As a Central Supply Assistant at Golden LivingCenters, you'll work closely with leadership in many different departments, providing meaningful and vital support. Your administrative and clerical work will meaningfully support a variety of office functions and help to ensure smooth and efficient operations. All this you'll do with a smile to help promote positive relationships with residents, visitors and regulators. Administer the distribution and inventory of resident care supplies in accordance with facility policies and regulations


  • Inventory and monitor central supply levels; work with management to analyze supply usage and determine target inventory level and reorder points. Order, receive and restock in accordance with procedures; secure emergency or critical items; monitor cost and maintain related records. Reconcile input at end of month to invoice and ensure appropriate markup
  • Inventory and stock supplies maintained at nurses station in supply points; record inventory and cost data and provide data to the business office and/or input in to the computer.
  • Distribute appropriate supplies
  • Maintain a safe and orderly work area; and conduct label reconciliation
  • Assist with Nursing Department activities to include administrative support; assisting residents, families and visitors, and running errands to include travel to supply sources


Must adhere to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics policy including documentation and reporting responsibilities


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Related administrative experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job
  • Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job


  • Basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company software
  • Capable of maintaining regular attendance
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient, employee and company proprietary information
  • Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levels.


Mobility, reaching, bending, lifting (minimum of 10 pounds), fine hand coordination, ability to read and write, the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions and directions, ability to travel, and ability to remain calm under pressure
